Description
We take a full copy of your website and run it through our own malware signature database. We remove the malware infection and hack from your site and in almost all cases can point out and fix the root cause.
We will give advice on what to change. If your site is hacked again from the same cause you can come back to us.
Backups
If you are restoring your site due to a possible hack, it is highly recommended to get a hack cleanup. When this is requested your site is restored to a quarantined area first, where it is scanned for vulnerabilities and remote exploits. Hackers usually install hidden back-doors so they can return to gain access to your site.
Software Updates
Most vulnerabilities arise due to outdated versions of software running on your site. This includes WordPress, it’s plugins and themes. As the majority of the WordPress hacks occur due to vulnerabilities in third-party plugins and themes, it is important to report it to the plugin development team, who can develop and release a security patch. If you are not using certain plugins, remove them from your site.
